but you never came...

My mom only had one eye. I hated her... she was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students & teachers to support the family. There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out.

The next day at school one of my classmates said, 'EEEE, your mom only has one eye!'I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear. I confronted her that day and said, ' If you're only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don't you just die?

'My mom did not respond....I didn't even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to her feelings. I walked out of that house, and have nothing to do with her.

So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts.

Then one day, my mother came to visit me. She hadn't seen me in years and she didn't even meet her grandchildren. When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. I screamed at her, 'How dare you come to my house and scare my children! 'GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!'

And to this, my mother quietly answered, 'Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,' and she disappeared out of sight. One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip.

After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity. My neighbors said that she died. I did not shed a single tear. They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.

'My dearest son,

I think of you all the time. I'm sorry that I came to your house and scared your children.

I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you.

I'm sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up. You see.........when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you having to grow up with one eye.

So I gave you mine.

I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye.

walk walk ard a bit with zhen today.. n we went her place to do abt one full paper. but we r damn lousy so we cant do the qns.. die la... so unprepared... confidence = zero!

anw, i getting so thrifty (euphemism for stingy) nowadays... i feel so sad.. its so unlike me... changing my spending habit isnt easy.. like skipping all my coffee, eating sheaper alternatives, buying cheaper stuff / not buying... crap... but its for the greater good... coz i wanna go overseas, i wanna learn a lot of stuff, i wanna buy so many things, and i wanna do so many things!!! oh-my-gawd!!! why m i so so so broke... shit la... erm, i shud find a job or smth.. if not 7mths how to survive... not like my mum is gonna gimme pocket money to anyhow spend... hai...

as u can see, i havent been blogging for qte long. it felt like a million yrs alr. anw as i have said earlier, it is ending faster than it took to begin... that sounds grammatically incorrect, but yeah, u get wad i mean lah...

yepp, its near the end of it alr. the papers sux. i cant be bothered to write more. but i feel happie. ironically. mayb just relieved. not coz i did well. but jus bcoz its over. and cant do much abt it alr.]

Anw, got Jay's November's Chopin from katt's place today! =)=)=) heh... and the beeg poster which i havent open up yet... erm, elena got jay's album for her bday. too bad this yr his album came out after august. i used to get a Jay Chou album every year for my bday. thanks to cali n co. *hugs* but this yr dun have... so got ronin's instead. lolx!~

today we were stranded in sch coz it rained. den we dialled for a cab n four of us took to yishun. $3+ each only. haha. qte worth it rite? coz its $4 for booking n $1 for peak hour. and we alighted at different place. but i was qte pissed by the driver's attitude la. like we owe him money liddat. damn. spoil my mood.

i got my irritating acid reflux back. n i managed to pull thru my exams by swallowing pills after pills. damn exam stress. kk i m very sleepy. i shud go slp. so my dark rings n zits can go away. damn exams.

After clearing about 3 quarters of my whole tys. i still cuden do today's maths p2. got so many mistakes. stupid careless me. and qns i cant do. qn that i cud do but forgot how to do. kept throwing marks away. since i can easily find 20marks to deduct. i think i will get 70. period. damnit.

i hope paper 1 can pull me up if i got lower than 70 or the cut off is higher than 70. crap. this maths eh. wth. oh well, wadeva the case... maths is over! can burn all the maths liao. hurhur... k la, shall give it to someone who needs it... =)

my maths is so crappy, others i must mug superduperhard liao. okok, gp tmr. i used to get either B3 or C6. which is qte extreme. but this time round. i will make it B3 or even better. shall go read some materials. and work towards my first A for gp. kk i m dreaming, but its good to aim higher. ganbatte yo!~
